If you have more than 36 months sea-time as a Deck Officer after 2nd Mates CoC, you can obtain both your Chief Mates and Masters CoC. Even if you are already sailing as a Master (for e.g. with Panama CoC), you will still need to do the 11 months course, sit for Chief Mates orals, get your Chief Mates CoC and then only can you do your Masters orals and obtain your Masters CoC. However, you will not need to do any additional seatime after Chief Mates CoC from NZ to obtain your Masters CoC if you already have more than 36 months seatime as a Deck Officer. Also, you can complete the Masters orals on a single trip to NZ whilst finishing your Chief Mates CoC, you will not need to make 2 trips to New Zealand. You will get this report in 2 hours.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now the applicant fills up the online visa application form. This process will take about 3 hours. The email will also state that the student needs to submit the full tuition fees to the college and submit receipt of tuition fees paid. Also, the tuition fees has to be paid from the bank account in which funds have been shown for the visa application.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The student remits the full tuition fees to the college by electronic bank transfer (SWIFT). We will assist you with the electronic bank transfer to MIT, Auckland. It will take 2 working days for college to receive the funds. The tuition fees receipt will come in another 1 &#8211; 2 days by email. This tuition fees receipt and the updated bank account statement from which funds have been sent to the college will be emailed to the visa office. Each room would be fully furnished i.e. the room would have a bed, mattress, wardrobe, study table, carpet, lights and heating system. The student would pay the room rent to the landlord every month. The kitchen and the washroom would be shared amenities. The kitchen would typically have a dining table, microwave, refrigerator and cooking system in place. A single room would house one student, a couple or 2 students at the maximum. On signing the contract with the landlord, you will have to pay one month?s of rent as security deposit as well as the rent in advance for that month. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your contract safely with you and insist that the rent will be paid by cheques only. Ask the landlord for a copy of rent receipt as well for your safety. It is upto a student if he wishes to book a one way ticket to New Zealand or a return ticket i.e. to and fro. Normally, a return ticket works out cheaper. We will introduce you to a Travel Agent who will help you out with flight ticket bookings or you can book through online portals like Yatra.com, Cleartrip.com, etc. A one way fare price will range from 40,000 &#8211; 50,000 INR whilst a return fare will range from 70,000 &#8211; 100,000 INR.
