From July 2016 onwards, the visa process has gone online.
You need to fill the visa form by visiting the link given below:

You can also visit any of the VFS offices and they will assist you in filling up the application form as well as scanning and
uploading the documents for a fee of 1,350 Rs/-. Alternatively, you can fill up the form yourself at home as well.

You will need to upload the documents on the weblink given above. List of documents are as given below:

  • Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)

This will be sent by the University to you by email after you have submitted your IELTS / Pearson PTE English test score
along with the 50% tuition fees + OSHC (health insurance) to the University. Visa application can be filled online only after
you have received the CoE from the University.

  • Passport - Old & new of self (wife and children also if married)


  • IELTS / Pearson PTE test result


  • Marriage Certificate & Birth Certificate of children (if applicable even if they are not accompanying you in Australia)


  • Bank Statement / Passbook & Educational Loan Sanction Letter

Scanned clear copies of bank statement / passbook for the last 12 months of the applicant will be uploaded. If you have
taken an educational loan, the loan sanction letter copy will also be attached with the bank passbook / statement.
The funds shown need to cover the balance college tuition fees (50%), living expenses in Australia (Au$ 19,830) for the
main applicant, travel to Australia (Au$ 2,000) per applicant, if spouse is accompanying you (Au$ 6,940), child (Au$ 2,970)
and school costs (Au$ 8,000 per year) for any school going children in Australia as would be determined by DIBP.
The above costs apply from 1 July 2016 onwards.

Health Examination:

If required, the visa officer will inform the applicant to undergo a Health Check-up at one of their registered doctors / clinics.
The applicant does not need to do any health check-up before submitting his application at the VFS office. Approved panel

On Visa Application, an HFA ID will be generated which will be emailed to you. After receiving the HFA ID, you can book an
appointment with the doctor. The approximate cost of medical will be in the range of 3,000 – 4,000 INR. You need to carry a
printout of the email and your Passport in ORIGINAL when you go to do the medical. The medical report will be sent by the
doctor / clinic directly to the Australian High Commission.

Health Insurance and Character Documents:

The E-CoE will have it mentioned that health insurance has been paid by the student already. The visa expiry date will be
determined by the expiry date of the health insurance.

A Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) if required will be informed by the visa officer after the application has been submitted
by the student. PCC can be applied online at the Passport Suvidha Kendra if asked for.

The visa processing time is normally 3 -4 weeks.

Note: To reach our office, take autorickshaw from Goregaon (E) station. It will cost you about 50 Rs/- and the distance is
3.0 kms from station. It should take you about 20 minutes to reach our office in normal traffic conditions from the station.
Alternatively, take Bus No. 452 from Goregaon (E) station and get down at the last bus stop i.e. Mayur Nagar. The office is
about 10 minutes walk from the Mayur Nagar bus station.
